My first guess was easter egger, but you said they didn't have any EE that week, only dark Cornish and welsummer. In these two, she looks like dark Cornish more. I guess time will eventually tell.
yes it wiLL I am going to try and take them out in the yard later and maybe get some good pics of them all ......the little unknown (dark cornish is my guess) is quickly becoming a favorite, she is very friendly.

I have a question! What exactly constitutes "Central Pennsylvania"? Since moving here, I have heard a lot of areas proclaim to be central Pennsylvania. It is very confusing to me.

Look at a Pennsylvania map and divide it into three parts...from Ohio line east about a 100 miles is 'western pa', from Eastern border with NJ and NY in about a hundred miles west would be 'eastern pa' and everything left in the middle is 'central pa'...

Well, I guess that explains it. Who needs to use four directions before proclaiming where center is? LOL

That is a raised hay storage area inside my goat shed.

The shed is inside a 5 foot fence and the side of the storage area is 5 feet high. Guess I'll see if she decides to brood there, although I have no idea how she would get the chicks out.

Happy Easter!
