We always took the rotten eggs and smashed them to see what stage went wrong. I don't plan on letting mine hatch. However, if I don't finish my run soon they will start laying in the tall grass and I won't be given the choice.
Would you believe that none of them looked to have any development?

I hope things go your way.
:cd I was very supprised to see it laying in the egg box this morning. The girls are only 19 week old. Suspect #1: Dolly the Rees Legbar. She is the one with best comb development and acted very excited this morning.
I hope all works out for you.
Fourteen rotten eggs. I swear they were moving last night. I guess its possible the gasses were moving. I have to wonder. How did I get 14 eggs that never developed anything? It explains why the girls would not lay back down on the eggs.
