It baffles me that everyone does not just follow me around to all the threads that I post in.
I am kidding.
I began removing chicken wire from the run this morning, but stopped because I was getting too much rust dust in my eyes. You would think that I would have a ton of protective eyewear sitting around. That stuff got put away with my leathers. No clue where. So, I am going to have to wait until my shipment comes with my new goggles.
When I called the landscaper to order my crushed limestone, he said he'd be out soon.
I had just showered, and had to not only get dressed again, but get sweaty again too.
I now have 18 feet of wire removed from the sides of the run, and about four from the top. The back nine feet are filled in with the limestone. More tearing might happen today, but I might just continue working on the ground. Loosening soil, removing it and filling in.
On the plus side, the guy came back with a load of gravel to fill in a rut in my driveway. It was not a big rut, but it was definitely worth filling in.
Okay, the real plus side is that I have at least gotten started. Thanks to wonderful people here. Chaos and Fisherlady have been awesome as usual.
