Nice! I worked in my temporary office in our PA facility today, and just noticed there were chickens free range cross street there. I never paid attention to what's outside before. So I was happily enjoying chicken TV with a cup of coffee during my breaks.
That's awesome! Do you know who left it? I came home tonight to find my outside chick brooder had collapsed from the weight if the logs I had put on top. The chicks were close by but running around like crazies! It was 7 pm, and my in laws were waiting for us to come to dinner. So I left their food and water out, and the critter carrier I transport them in nearby. I fugured they should be okay for an hour or two, and I would find them when it got dark. I couldn't catch them anyways, it would be like herding cats.

I just shut the door and brought them into their cage in the garage. I should have my shed delivered next week, and then I can train them to sleep in there. I will have to mix everybody together then, but I will make sure the littles can have a place to escape the other chickens and turkeys. I have a plan people!
Also, trash picked a plywood scrap out of my neighbor's trash today. Will need that for the shed reroofing. Also, found a guy on Craigslist selling shingles fairly cheap. I will pick them up on Sunday.![]()
