Sorry to hear about your tough morning @Auroradream26 ! I understand where you are coming from, ours are 2 and 4, and some days they don't want to go out to the car. Can't imagine what that's like if you add back to back in smashed jars of tomato and dog mess.Ever just have one of those mornings where the world is against you?
Woke up a bit later than usual since I was up late last night. Not a big deal but both kids refused to get up with their alarms so they were behind. Kicked them out of bed and went to the kitchen to let the dogs out. I found that my husky had diarrhea on the floor and peed too. She's 12 years old so it happens now and then, and always on days that I'm running behind. Got that all cleaned up and mopped up and start packing the kids lunches. By this time is 6:30, bus comes by 7:10. Daughter comes out, grabs the bag of cereal off the shelves and knocks down a jar of tomato sauce which of course shatters all over the floor that I just mopped and all over her. While I'm taking forever trying to clean my already cleaned up floor again, kids are complaining that they can't buy lunch today which is the Thanksgiving feast at school. I would've been happy to let them buy, especially today, but I checked their lunch accounts and they spent the money I put in there for them already on snacks and junk at the snack store, something they know they're not allowed to do. Finally get all that cleaned up (dogs whining in the background the whole time, demanding breakfast) and finish packing their lunches while my son goes out to start the car. We go to leave, and get outside, and the wrong car is started. Every single morning we take the same car to the bus stop because it takes next to no gas and the clock matches the bus timing. Trivial, I know but at this point, I'm already fuming about everything else. We get in the car and I look and my son has no coat on. It's already pushing 7:10 but now I have to wait for him to go get a coat. We made it up to the stop just in time.
Thank God the chickens and turkeys are here for therapy on days like this because I think I'd have lost my mind by now! Mira came over to give me a big cuddle (though, she probably just wanted to be warm). I tried to get Cocoa but she didn't want held and just got poop all over me instead. Cuddles, Christmas, Eve, and Juliet all pushed together to give me morning turkey hugs though so they made everything melt away.
