They are the cutest! I'm not surprised mama has trouble keeping up with 4, that is a lot for any animal, let alone a hoofed one! Is there a supplement available to help out the littlest one so it can catch up a bit? Or is it regaining ground with just a bottle?

Thanks me too. I really hate doing the shots myself and I can't get him to eat anything. His white blood count is at normal levels and it should be elevated so vet wants me to up his calorie intake. I've tried sweet feed, calf manna, regular goat pelets, scratch, sunflower seeds. He eats alot of hay and green plants. Just started giving him a bunch of raisins and apples but I'm not sure if that's the best. Ugh. Just want to get him better.

Diagnosis: Infectious Coryza.

So considering I had gotten the sick chick along with 2 other chicks (who are on day 21 of quarantine from my main flock), should I be worried about those 2?

Also heartbroken that it was a pullet, and it's starting to look like the other 2 are boys...

Oh my, if my landlord hadn't scoffed when I mentioned getting some goats to eat our poison ivy, I'd be offering you up all my grocery money for that blue-eyed tri-color girl. She is exactly what I'm hoping for whenever we are in the position to actually get some goats :)
 
Did someone from the lab call you? I usually get a call from the lab when I drop off for a necropsy (we use New Bolton Center), the vet there gives me advice. Perhaps you could call the lab on Monday and ask. I would most definitely keep the remaining 2 seperate from the rest of your birds. I believe Coryza has a very distinctive smell- so if they smell funky, be dilligent with your biosecurity.

I did get a phone call Friday pm, but missed it. I will call them tomorrow to ask for suggestions. No symptoms from the other two, no funky smell either (except for stinky chick poos!)
