My CL hasn't laid in four days!! Acts normal. I walked the chicken yard yesterday. Nothing. There isn't really anywhere to hid them. They have a lot of big tree cover but little ground cover. He haven't seen any signs on molting. We get about 5-7 eggs a day from the 9 various brown layers. Frustrated

Anyone going to have there chickens at the york fair this year? I live in az but grew up in pa. I have 2 silkies. I'll be home that week and going to take grandkids to the fair.

This morning she drank water but isn't eating. We put grass clippings out last night and she is just standing in the middle of them. I already lost her sister earlier this summer. Dammit. I drove to Jim Thorpe last year to buy these girls!!

Got a shipment of 28 chicks from Sand Hill this morning. These breeds:
Black Leghorn
Black Polish
Sicilian Buttercup
Black Breasted Red Kraienkoppe
Rose Comb Brown Leghorn
Red Pyle Cubalaya
Silver Penciled Hamburg

The only ones I'm planning to keep are the Kraienkoppes and the Rose Comb Brown Leghorn. I think the polish are spoken for, but the others are available if anyone in my area is interested in them.

I finally checked this hatchery out. Are you normally happy with the birds you get?

Did you check to see if shes egg bound? Hope she gets better!
