I have weird chickens. Yesterday, Colleen was on the eggs that Niko is brooding. Niko was just hanging out next to her. Then, today, Niko went out for a dust bath, and to sit on the perch in the run for a little bit. Checked the eggs - Rory was keeping them warm - and laid one in there. It's like she gets babysitters for them. Hatch day is supposed to be this Thursday.
In other chicken news, Colleen is going to the Celtic Fling at the PA Renaissance Faire tomorrow along with Jada. Anyone coming by to say hi?

I would LOVE to, but have to go to a memorial service out of state. I want to see pictures! (I have two Rennaisance gowns.....LOVE the Rennaisance Faire!)
 
Here's Chicken Little at the Celtic Fling yesterday. She had a good time. All the little kids got to feed her. Cage made from parts of a greenhouse (Green poly type thing) worked great. Used rebar to anchor it. She traveled just fine in our large cat carrier. I'd do this again, but not at every event.

 
@Lelanae You are in berks co right? One of my hens has bumble foot and I’m going out of town for two weeks. Any interest in taking her in to treat her? I would pay. Let me know.
