@BY Bob Are you avoiding temptation?
I am. Crazy work day yesterday. Had no time for chickens. Therefore I was out this morning, feeding, watering and collecting eggs before running to the airport. On a plane right now.

I only need 1 male :lau. Right now I don't have any plans to go vist my brother. He live in Jersey Shore (PA).
Its a little far to drive for 1 duck. :hmm

Hey to be perfectly honest I wound up going all the way out to Jersey just for a Rouen Drake once

I cleaned the quail brooder, and want to share that for a small brooder (think 20 gal tank), the Kaytee small animal bedding is great. I used it because it’s so fluffy

and I thought the quail would prefer it for snuggling into like they would grass or brush. Bedsides, pine chips are bigger than they are!
Anyway, I had no problem cleaning the brooder. I would say it took a third of the time (or less!) to clean than using chips that clump up, and stick to the brooder.
