Ugh what a beautiful day. And can I let the chickens out? NOPE. Freaking hawks everywhere :hit Can't wait to get the new coop and run built!
not having eagle or hawk issues right this second, but I hated being stuck inside today...:barnie:he...oh well, there will be more nice days...I have to keep telling myself that right now...hahaha, sad.
Would like to let the girls out, but the yard is mushy & they would tear it up sooo bad right now...not dealing with that. Have enough to take care of in the house, soooo, will enjoy as much as possible when taking fur babes out to potty.
The little tweety birds are having a hay-day out there, fixing up their nests. Watched a female something-or-other, find bits of chicken feathers and other fluffy things to make her nest nice & comfy.:pop...so nice to see.
My gosh it smells so good outside...SPRING!:wee

ummm, yeah...the polar child vortex....ours like to work their magic in the bathroom...with just about everything imaginable....shave cream, toothpaste, cologne...you get the picture..oh, and not just at our own house...oh no...at grandma & grandpa's house too...oh yes...everyone has been a victim.

Chicks are sleeping on the feeder. Its actually good. Most chicks don’t roost so early. Perhaps it’s from sleeping on the straw mountain.
The Pekin are in the back, and the chickens are scrunched together in the other side on a half door.
I didn’t see the Muscovy, and couldn’t tell how many roosters were on the door. I looked around outside, but honestly don’t care where the roosters are as long as one is in the coop with the hen.
