I feel so bad. I have been busy feeding baby goats and delivering babies. I have not candled any of the eggs in the incubator. Hoping to do it tonight or tomorrow when I take the turner out.

Silly, not candling isn’t bad.

My quail were upset their water was frozen. No one is happy about the snow today after the warmth yesterday.
I am using a foil muffin pan until I find my stash of unchewed ( Maaco!) plastic quart water jars.

@wingstone I just bought my first bale of straw. The bales I got from you a million (almost four) years ago are finally gone. Of sand, leaves, pine shavings and straw, I absolutely love straw best!

Dang it, I just set 98 quail eggs the other day lol. I'm sure I'll get more but nowhere near that many. The turkeys just started laying again the other day. I only have about 5 eggs and I have no clue who is laying so no clue what would hatch lol

First, I’m MotorcycleChick. DH and I brought you some Houdan chicks. Fisherlady picked them up ... somewhere, I kept them a few days, and we brought them to you.

I checked and can't find your message on FB. Unless you meant a different Dennis . . .
I have lots of turkey eggs now, the pen is mixed Royal Palms, Mottled Blacks and Silver Dappled. They hatch mostly Royal Palms, but might get some of the other 2 and even possibly a "Marbled Black", which is just a less mottled, more black, bird.
