okay...these pics are not from today, but I did take some the last time I made biscotti.
Try to make double batchs when I get the stuff out...make the mess worth it.
Was making a tutorial so to speak for my daughter.
Had also made a cherry pie for DH & doggie treats for the pups.

They were helping...stayed there until the goodies were done. PB, oats, egg & spices ( doggie approved). They are very good..hahah, yes even people can eat these, can't say that about most doggie goodies.

Aggressive is NOT acceptable, with anyone's dog IMO.
Hope they did something about it.
Sorry you had to endure, but very glad it didn't get anymore intense. Not cool at all.

It’s a neighbor from down the road. He owns the grapes just past my backyard. For some reason he had his dog with him, when he usually doesn’t. So I told him to keep the dog away from my property. This dog is nothing but trouble as many neighbors have said. People can’t walk past his house without the dog chasing them. I’m not afraid of dogs at all but this one puts me on the edge.

Without going into any stories of my own, will just say, I totally understand what you're dealing with.
Too bad people cannot be responsible for their animals...there are a lot of people that should NEVER even have them to begin with. Can't be anymore honest about it than that.
When I was a kid, used to have multiple paper routes...needless to say, I have quite a few "dog" & "owner" stories.
Just be mindful of your surroundings and never turn your back on them....dog or owner

It is so much calmer here now. Can still see your breath though. Chilly.
It is so nice to hear the 'peepers' this time of year. Gives you hope of warmer - better weather yet to come.
Just watched the news...weather girl says chance for a bunch of rain next week..hmmm.. Just hope it is not too much. A little goes a long way around here.
Friday is supposed to be a wash-out. The blueberries and garlic will need watering by then.

good grief...
there are massive pine trees around here...whenever we get wind like today I think.. "someday these guys will just..blam!" , hopefully NOT on anyone's-anything(s)...the neighbor as the majority and would GET the majority.

going to try to get a few more seeds into dirt tomorrow...try being the key issue.
Must first have sleep..then fun..at least that what they tell me...should google it to be sure...
the seeds that have been planted are doing great..again, I would have pictures at this point in the conversation, but alas...no camera..still.
You are just going to have to believe me. Have the peppers started on a heat mat...waiting ever patiently for them to pop-through the dirt.
I know I have got those off to a late start, but here we are..better late than never.
Tomatoes, yellow squash, spaghetti squash, cantaloupe, watermelon and something else..can't remember right now. All are growing well.
Might have planted the squashes early, but after last year, wanted to make sure the plants I have are well on their way to getting groovy with the whole vegging-out plan.
They should be extremely well established when time comes to getting them outside.
ah..I remember now..cucumbers! HA!
Okay..time for bed..things are getting silly.

I need to get rototilling my garden. But its kind of hard to do when you have about a foot of manure on it. Need to find someone close by that has a tiller for the back of a tractor. And have them come and till it up.

I'm taking it easy with my garden this year. Not starting any seeds indoors. Once it's warm enough I'm going to dig up the dirt with a shovel and rake it all up with the chicken manure. Then I'll get some plants from our garden store. Don't have the patience for the garden this year. Last year ruined my mood for gardening.
