I think it should, as it’s an annual I believe. @dheltzel is the go to guy for horticulture questions. The problem is how many seeds they throw per year. The seeds have a heard coating, so they can come up later, after you may think they’re all gone.
True morning glories are annuals (and very closely related to sweet potatoes), but there is a tenacious perennial weed with smaller white flowers that is commonly called Morning Glory. It is about as hard to get rid of as thistles, the only (organic) way is to dig and pull all traces of it.
In any case, digging and pulling the weeds is the universal solution is a food crop.

Just a bunch of sticks blown down so far.... into the yard we spent hours raking up last week! :he, still pretty windy on the ridge, with snow squalls:barnie enough already!.

I hear ya! I’ve set up a temporary fire pit in my large chicken run in the woods. We have so many sticks from the pine trees that came down this year and last. I thought about putting them through the chipper, but I’ve decided to just burn them on the spot. We have so many pine logs too, it’s going to take a while to burn it all.

*Edited to add: there’s camo dog at it again! If it weren’t for the white paws...

I think that’s field bindweed, correct? That sucker is a pain to get rid of also.

Gotta keep your chicks in a row... I’ll have to install a few more bamboo roosts! This was the other day when it was warm and sunny.

Is anyone trying this idea? This is not my picture, but I’m definitely going to make a few of these raised grass beds for my flock. I think I will also use some old tires that are already sitting in the woods.

The ducks have been moved to the basement so it’s not as messy. And the kiddy pool fits well down there.
