Hey guys, I just got this camera for my chicken coop. Unfortunately, my WiFi doesn’t extend that far, so for now I have hooked up down in the basement to watch the ducks. You can’t see most of them here because of the heat lamp.

If any of you guys get a WiFi signal out near your coop, this would be awesome. It’s only $20, and you view the video on an app on your phone. It has all kinds of features I haven’t figured out yet... it’s called a Wyze camera. I wish I’d had it when I had my coop closer to my house.

First, I had to search all over for a video baby monitor that extended to the coop. I can’t use it with my phone, but it’s still nice... if I only knew where I put it.
Hopefully, @fisherlady will chime in. I know she has crazy cool surveillance, and I think she’s the one that can tell you where to find a cheap wifi extender so you can get a signal in the coop.

I hear ya! I’ve set up a temporary fire pit in my large chicken run in the woods. We have so many sticks from the pine trees that came down this year and last. I thought about putting them through the chipper, but I’ve decided to just burn them on the spot. We have so many pine logs too, it’s going to take a while to burn it all.

*Edited to add: there’s camo dog at it again! If it weren’t for the white paws...

I think that’s field bindweed, correct? That sucker is a pain to get rid of also.

Love the camo dog watching over the fire pit. If you put a 'lean to' type roof over the pit area the birds may enjoy dusting in the ashes. I know ours love it when we burn stuff.
The lean-to can simply be a piece of plywood propped up on one side, it doesnt need to be fancy. It just seems the birds like to feel like they are a bit hidden.

ISO RIR, Barred Rock, or Red Sex Link pullets/point of lay. I need 2 for my flock.
The hens need to be near point of lay or just starting to lay since they will be entering into a coop/run with 4 Australorps and 2 Delawares that are 15 months old and quite large.

The chickie-do’s were so happy this morning...they were running around...even the big fat Cornish cross chickens were hopping if u would call it that! These ones have the big coop that it’s still a work in progress and the newest group is in the smaller one with the attached run. Hoping the older chickies will get used to the younger ones. I am going to leave them separated for the rest of this week and then make an escape door so the lil ones can come out and play too but escape if need be. Here’s a pic of the older ones munching this morning as happy as can be!
