@AnneInTheBurbs
So I spent yesterday making the round trip trek to the extreme SW Pa border for some fresh blood for the Silver Pencil flock. We lost the last rooster we had to a broken hip the winter of 17/18 so only had our White rock roosters and therefore ended up with mixed breed chicks last year. Not only did I get eggs for the current broodies I got a beautiful 1 yr old rooster to introduce to my 6 pencil hens to start getting pure pencil eggs again (I hope the hens cooperate! LOL).
So long story short.... I haven't forgotten and hope to get you some pure SPR by late summer.... As soon as we can complete integration and confirm fertility.

..sorry, I had to do it!

Whatever your bliss may be.
I’m sorry.
...it is always so much fun when the sheets get all wrapped around and your underwear is in the neighbors yard..

live traps are a great investment. Nobody said that whatever you catch has to leave the trap alive....
it's not really windy here but it was a bit chilly this morning. Felt good in the sun though!
