Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

It’s Sunday, so I kinda thought it, but I wasn’t actually expecting it. The final SPR started today. Duckling about burst when she was the one to find out. Of five girls, four began on a Sunday. The last two (mutts) are 24 weeks Wednesday. They will be laying anytime now too.

The winds blew shingles on the roof loose a few days ago, and my bedroom got wet from the rain we had then. It’s pouring and gusty again. The roofer hasn’t called back today. It’s possible roofers aren’t working at this time.

Roof repair from storm damage is considered 'essential work' and is allowed even during the state shut down of most construction jobs.
If he didnt call back I would expect either he is busy with multiple calls for storm damage or is more worried about doing bigger jobs for bigger profits. If he doesn't get back to you by tomorrow I would start making more calls to find another (hopefully more reliable) contractor.

Did an open air parking lot meet up with Onemountainacre today....yes, we maintained our social distance and face masks... and I got a number of great sewn face masks from her and she got some SPR eggs to maybe give Ana a new broody buddy. Was great to see her and chat for a while.
I was glad to get the masks since I needed them for each parent and DH. Me and sewing machines have come to an agreement... I don't touch the machine and it doesn't immediately spit out a rats nest worth of tangled thread.... I learned long ago that sewing machines and I are better off in separate rooms! LOL

It was great to meet up and chat for a bit! Glad you're happy with your masks! The eggs jumped right in the incubator right after I got home :)
