Welcome from Kennett Square! We love New Hope and used toHey all, just found the Pennsylvania thread and thought I'd drop by
I'm in the Southeast, New Hope area if you're familiar with it. I started with 4 fertile eggs and that clearly wasn't enough so we keep adding chickensI just got another 7 from the Agway last week.
Just a few!Welcome from center county! What chickens do you have? They are very fun for sure! Beware of the enablers here! We are good at helping to add more birds to your flock![]()
We do have goats, (and ponies) but even though I grew up on a beef farm we don't have any cows. Those mini do look tempting. You need mini cows and goats!!

im not far from you, I live in erie and my chickens are in north east right off the lake!Hi, thought I should introduce myself, instead of just lurking on the thread. I'm from NW PA. Started our flock of chickens 8 years ago with straight run hatchery SLW. 24 hens and 1 roo (double mistake?) Birds ever since seem to hatch 3:1 males: females. Current flock of 40 has SLW, Delaware, barred rock, EE, Silkies, Rhode Island White (hatchery. Grade) Leghorn, barred red auction buy on avitar....and barnyard mixes from our own hatching. We also have 10 ducks -khaki, runners and Muskovies. 15 more of different duck breeds arriving in May. No enablers needed as we are great at chicken math without additional help.

Looks like you need some chocolate egg layers and blue egg layers. And Dennis has a large hatch next week that includes these chickens, and he is not far from you. So...Just a few!We have 4 leghorns, 4 easter eggers, 3 olive eggers, 1 Plymouth rock, 2 cochins of some kind and an unknown that someone said might be a lavender orpington.
