Yep ray is out of town for a few weeks i am supposed to be getting some chickens from him ..

That Silver laced on my shoulder came from Ray

She is a sweetie! The gang pick on her so i sit in the run on a bucket and she runs between my feet until I pick her up. Oh! And Ray spoils his kids! Some get hand fed and she gets it from me now. And so I have just carried on the spoiling I suppose

Anyone interested in 2 buff orp cockerels? They are about 15 weeks old. I'm not opposed to them being butchered, I just don't want to try it myself right now.

I have a SLW too and she looks to be about the same size as yours, and she too is a little sweetie!! She is so gentle and loving, my 4 and 8 yr old girls can pick her up and she just hangs out on the arms and shoulders and stuff... great breed, would def get more SLW!!

Welcome Patrick! And Welcome back Shelbear! Getting a visit in with Mama2my?! Soooo jealous!
I saw the most gorgeous White Banty Cochins go through the Green Dragon last night, I had to scoot out early as the lil one wasn't up to staying (should have left her home with DH!). Wanted to bid on a cow or some goats, and just couldn't get the kids to hang in until 8 when they do the livestock.

. Perhaps the mere fact that I can't decide goat or cow would be enough to convince me to wait for a fence or barn, but it doesn't seem to be. Good thing MsLadyHawk wasn't there, she's quite the enabler.
Thought I might see Ray from PA there, but nope. Even if I did see him, I wouldn't have known, Ray, u should wear a sign that says 'Ray from PA'.

I know, I am so excited!!! I am going tomorrow to get 6 silkies off her, and since she is thinning her breeds maybe we can strike a deal on something else... lol
