Ok so I want some advice from you veterans!! I have only one white roo and he is very aggressive towards my hens!! Most of thm run from him cause he is your typical horny male! Would you keep him or get rid of him?? Don't know what to do about him yet!!

Hmmm... Let me think this over.....I have 1 awful RIR roo, Olive Egger, Silkie, Polish, Mutant mix, Easter Egger, D'Uccle,Splash Marans,6 Lavender Orp, and 2 Serama ALL ROO's... Yeah, I think I'll have to pass. But thanks so much for the offer.

WOW! Yeah, you may have a few lol. Figured I'd try. If they don't get homes they are gonna end up roasted, probably with veggies and potatoes.

Okay, Seriously, as I've just listed all of my roo's I have seen all different types and most start out that way ( I do have an Easter Egger that knows his place in the pecking order and doesn't even try it with the girls). Eventually the girls will hunker down for him and he won't have to be so aggressive....Eventually.
 
As I was told........he's just doing his job. If I chased as much as my roo does, GOOD GOD! I'd either be super fit or dead quickly! LOL I was told the same. Eventually they calm down and chasing hens isn't nearly as thrilling.

I thought so too, but unfortunately he doesn't have the grit to hang with the big boys so I'm constantly defending him. I keep swearing I'm gonna kill one of them by accident with all the sticks I throw. They just run way too fast for me to swat. I can't get rid of them and can't eat them, so I'm stuck.

Oh Sheesh!! You sound just like me!!

I have at least 4 silkie roos (I am sure there will be more of those...), 2 bantam orpington roos, 2 serama rooss, 2 bantam cochin roos, and a whole bunch of babies that I am sure will be 75% roos!!!
