Well dur!! LOL!

The "racks" for them to hatch in are about 6" above where they need to be for hatching. If I move them to the bottom hatching rack too soon, they'll get stuck in the eggs. If I leave them up in the rotating racks, they could fall and "bam".

So..I "think" maybe it's this week that they are due?! DANGIT!

Hey, anyone interested in working on a breeding project with me? I got some Brahmas, I think they are beautiful and would like to get this new color started. I think. . . .they would be half spangled, half transverse laced, very unusual. I have the pictures posted for a free pair in the classidied section. Also I am looking to start some ducks for eggs. Know of anyone who has some laying breeds? A man from my local feed store only has the musvories. I am really looking for Golden Cascades. I am wondering what their eggs taste like. Yeah, didnt know if they would have a different taste, as the same principal as cows milk to goats milk.

I saw your birds and wanted to just give a bit of info. What you are seeing isn't exactly a coloration. It's more of a leakage. What you are seeing is the "leakage" of the undercolor (fluff if you will) leaking through the Buff and White parts of the bird.
