We started out last summer with 7 "freebees". We now have incubators, brooders, pens, chicks and chickens out the Wazoo!!!!! I love my chickens, they are SO COOL!!!

But why stop at chickens? You also need some guineas, turkeys, ducks....the list goes on and on.

Same thing happened to me. I was fine with my little MacMurray rainbow layer specials each year. Now I've got everything and I'm getting breeder stock even though the chances that I'll end up at any poultry shows are like NONE. I'll try to help you though-don't get Wyandottes, they're mean, evil, nasty little critters. But turkeys.....oh yeah, you need a breeding trio of at least three breeds.
