That's typical my Blue Heeler still does it, it's just natural I guess. But my pup helped herd a chick today, it got out of its pen and he chased it right to me

Our aussie will try to help us herd, problem is, she chases everything AWAY from us. She is starting to figure it out now that she is more mature, now she really helps, but then the youngest(beaglemix) chases them AWAY from us.

All fun and games. The horses hate them.

Those are both from working dogs. They have that drive ingrained in them good. I am actually pleased to hear about the herding. Just don't let them get away with herding stuff that they shouldn't.

I had 3 blue heelers, but one was almost 16 years old! She had everything..cancer, deafness, ect. We had to put her down but we still have 2 of her pups from her first few litters! Adorable dogs you have!
