@people who put music on their websites...

I was using a comp that a roommate of my cousin had, and I did not know she had the volume up all the way. I was going to watch a video on youtube, I was so embarassed by it because it was so loud. It was a laptop so it was hard to turn it down too.

Is Greyfields having a tough day? Or is this one of those days where you woke up in a strange room wearing strange clothes?

We hope you feel better and a tad more civil (DIAF???????) soon.

What's even WORSE,..... is when it's MIDI!!!!!

No, because I'm already listening to music. I don't need to hear two songs at once!

It would seem to reason that if you are going to a band's page, you may want to hear them. Or download something. So, I will tell my son to turn his music off of his website.

Aw, you all are such party poopers. I, for one, welcome the auditory barrage when I open websites! It injects a little spice into my otherwise boring day.

I also like flash advertisements that cover the whole screen, forcing me to close them to view the content that I originally came to the website for.

Even better is when these flash advertisements make noise too! Every time I visit one of those websites, I feel like I've won the lottery.

Embrace the unknown. Embrace change. Pretty soon, all websites will only be flash advertisements with loud obnoxious sounds, and everything will be right with the world. Disease, poverty, hunger... they will all be gone. The world will flourish like never before seen.

I can't leave these pages fast enough.

I think BYC needs some noise.

How perfect when you open a thread to read - a Rooster crows.

When you hit reply - a hen's "I just laid an egg" cackle.

If you go look at a thread thats been locked - A whole flock of guinea's yelling.

When you log in - a LONG CROWER.

When you log out - the door slamming noise.

When a mod logs in - a car alarm (or the guinea's again - same thing really)

When you get a new PM - Duck quack. (I'll send lots of pm's to Terrie)

Oh and when you click on the recipe section - the sound of frying bacon and eggs.
