I am soo totally new here, and feel weird just jumping in, but this thread is calling me, lol! I have 3 boys right now, and sometimes feel stressed because I'm somewhat of a neat freak; if you looked at my house you wouldn't believe it, but I do *want* it to be neat, just don't have the energy to *make* it that way!
My boys are 6, 4 1/2, and 20 months. My youngest has CP, and can't crawl, walk, talk, etc. He is fed by a tube in his tummy, has 3 meds 3 times daily, as well as daily therapy sessions. I find myself focusing on him so much, and am grateful that my husband spends the time he does with the two older ones.
The older two are pretty good at helping me-even at their ages. Right now we are working on always putting our coats/snowpants/gloves etc "away" Every time we come in the door. They also pick up their toys (have to be told, but they're getting there) make their beds (again, not the best, but they are putting in the effort) It will all work out, and like others said, you are already making it-one more will be different, but it's not going to be as scary as it seems. Good luck to you
