Ya ya JaeG I wet her crumbles and the most I have ever seen her eat in one setting of anything my hart is so happy. I did put some in a jar and covered with water and will try to keep in warm spot but don't know if I will meet to do that process if she keep a eaten the way she did today. And have her eggshells today and she ate those also.so excited

Ok just got fun and educational for me these are treats my Spazy frizzle kitchen chicken will eat please let me know if any of these are a absolute must not ever again. Or should try

Sunflower seeds roasted from the bar not salted. Haha from the jar not the bar haha she wishes


Vanilla Ice cream only gets very seldom but if I would let her I think she would freez her brain.

All sorts of baby food favorite is one that includes sweet poatoes/ blueberry/millet/Greek yogurt all togeather

Rice a ronni only no other type

Mango and wattermellon

Applesauce with raw oats

Boiled egg but only will eat very little

Corn on the cob will eat a little
Frozen veggies peas corn carrot blend she picks out just the peas uggg but just started eating them she would not touch before.

Crickets very seldom not to interested

Dry mealworms she hates them

Well she now finally as reg food will eat mush her show bird crumbles in water. And gets outside and eats grass and offered chicken scratch with seeds and corn. Will eat grit from sand in her dust bath.
But would love to hear any other spoiled chicken treats

All of those sound fine as treats. Ours go crazy for cheese as a treat. It's how I used to catch them to bring them inside at night without having to climb into the small run they were in. They like apple too. Really anything we eat they want!

Raw sunflower seeds is better than roasted only because there's natural oil in the sunflower seeds that change properties if roasted but the roasted is not harmful - just not as nutritious as raw. Greek yogurt plain with no flavors or sugars is best. We get Trader Joe's 0% fat Greek yogurt because the protein level is higher than regular yogurts.

You're welcome! Crickets/spiders will be something hens eat later when they start laying eggs and want more protein. My Silkie developed a taste for giant crunchy brown grasshoppers, dragonflies, and green June beetles that are bigger than her little face! She doesn't fool around with little tiny ants or bugs -- she wants the BIG ones!
