Here's scuffle, our new house chicken lol

She's always tried getting in anyway & those feathered feet are not great in the North west UK.
She's on my lap now in front of the fire crooning watching the news

I have the TV set on now, and my two House Chickens have settled down for the evening on the audio bar (although they are on the recliner with me in the following photo).

An E-surance commercial just aired, the one using chicks cheeping to reflect "cheap" rates. Sparkle Silkie, the Broody Queen (not currently broody OR raising chicks) woke right up and chirrupped in response to the cheeping. Both she and Punkin looked around for chicks. They're still slightly alert.

How cute! I would love to have my girl on my lap right now, but she's sleeping. She still isn't quite used to staying up late. She goes to bed at about 8:30pm. Any later than that and she gets restless. I think in a few months she will be more adjusted to staying up with me.

I have a dominique named Zelda. she doesn't live in the house but I do tend to hug and love her.and she runs up to me when go to the chicken coop.she loves to play with shoo lasses and peck fingernails.she will lay down on her side in my lap and go to sleep I just can't help but to love her.

@gryeyes , that is too funny! Silly girls. A few years ago I was watching a TV show about whales with my big RIR rooster on my lap. Whenever the whales on the show would make their low humming sound, my rooster would respond with the same sound and would freak out trying to find "the hens" that made the sound.

Was cold & wet here to.

Just ordered 2 dishes to hook on scuffles crate & a parrot preener toy because I've noticed my chickens enjoyed preening the ends of the dog rope toy lol

I haven't noticed an increase in dust much either & made her a chicken diaper last night.

She's snuggling with the dogs in the hallway, yep, she has been sleeping in the dog bed with the dogs :-O
