 I love the smell of cedar like nothing else! It's definitely one of my favorite smells. But I really do love the smell of fresh cut pine, the kind of smell you get when you saw a pine tree down. And then if you add some citrus scent to that... oh!   That's the best! It just screams Christmas!

Mmm!! I haven't smelled Cedar shavings, but if they are better in scent than Pine, it's best I stay away from them. I wouldn't be able to keep my head out of the bag!

Thankfully I don't have any broody hens at the moment. Two of my Buff Orpingtons are constantly broody in the Summer. I sure am going to miss them when they go to their new homes...

They do smell better! And that's why I can't keep my nose of their feathers! They smell so good!

I just thought of something. Do house chickens still molt? I know hens outside molt when the temperature drops, but I wasn't sure if the change in climate would keep them from molting.
