Finn is sooo cute does he like being in his blanket? Marilyn hates it.

Marilyn is still hanging on and eats less and less. I cannot torture her and tube feed her anymore. She threw up the last time I did it and I didnt even give her very much. She is wasting away, but still ornery. Knows what she likes to eat for sure. Instant flavored oatmeals, grapes, bananas, and mac n cheese. I give her crumbles mixed in with the oatmeal and chick grit too. I keep her warm, clean and cuddled frequently. She won't eat unless I hand feed her or with the oatmeal give her a cpl good bites then she will eat. I have to feed her 4-6 times a day bec she wont eat much at a time. I pray she passes in her sleep and knows how much I love her

My broody Helen is doing well incubating the silkie eggs. My silkie hen is so calm and sweet, but I'm tellin you her bf Russell is soo jealous if I pick her up and not him! Baths tomorrow lol he got poo on her back doing the naughty with her...I had to have a talk with him abt that lol Our kitten loves to stalk and tease Russell it is erical

I am so sorry... I have been in a similar situation with my cat before, and it was really hard. But it helps to know that you're doing everything you possibly can to help them. I'll be thinking of you both.

Marilyn is in wonderful hands, and she knows it. Still, I can't imagine how hard it must be. I've got the both of you in my thoughts, and it makes me happy that she's comfortable and being spoiled. I can tell that she's family, like mine are to me.

I gave Marilyn a Spa night last evening. Nice warm bath/shower. Stretching her wings and legs and clipped her butt feathers some more. I also stretched her neck up straight and she seemed so surprised it could still do it. She does this pogo dance when I stand her up and balks lol I have to wrap her so she doesn't completely freak out. She eats and drinks best when I get her to stand then she sleeps again and I feed her again. I found she likes Tuna!

I want to put her to sleep but cant find anyone to do it. It will cost way too much for me to go out and try to get Nitrous. Is There any way I can humanely poison her at home? She can't go on living like this. I CANT cut her throat or break her neck or drown her....NOT HUMANE. I thought of crushing up my sleeping pills andfeeding them to her through her fdg tube with water. Then she can fall asleep forever, but will it work on a chicken??

I have never had to put down a chicken, so I'm not entirely sure how to do it or what is the most humane way. That's nice that she got to have a spa day with you. I'm sure she enjoyed that.

She loves getting blow dried and having her feet and comb massaged with vaseline. With the warm air she's like "aaaaahhhhhh"..... I love this girl

She is Ms. Marilyn. The fiesty sweet chicken who used to tell me all kinds of stories. She knew her name first. When I would call the girls to go out she was the first in line behind me to the pen and she would go straight to the house when I let them back in for the night. I am praying to God for guidance.
