people with house chickens

I love Finn, no matter what he is! I wish you luck at the show. He is adorable no matter what

Thank you! Your chickens are very adorable too! I just fall in love with every chicken, haha.

Thanks! Haha. Oh, and she is SOOOOO spoiled, you wouldn't believe it. She's the one who sleeps in the bedroom on the bookshelf!

She begs at the table along with the dogs, and always gets treats (because it's impossible for me to tell her no). She's completely oblivious to the fact that she's a bird, I think. From what I can tell, she considers herself part canine and part human.

She is now at the point where she is only in her enclosure when nobody is home. The rest of the time, she roams pretty much anywhere she pleases. Oh, and I'm not sure if I shared this with everyone yet, but she chases doves out of the yard constantly; she even flies after them. Hahaha!
my cockerel Turkey chased some pigeons out of our yard today, some little finches too! Hahaha. Wait...how do I know if what I have here are doves or pigeons?

Our privacy fence is finally finished, so Sunni got to go play outside today.

She didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I thought she would. At first she kept looking at me like, "Can we go back inside now?" Then she kind of warmed up to it and did a little bit of exploring. She seems much happier rolling around in her fake dirt right now, than she was about being on the real dirt outside.

She looks so beautiful outside! It does take them a little bit to get used to it, but even my little ones are starting to enjoy it!

I ruined my chickens like that too. They wait until they come inside every evening to sham dust bath on their towels and sheets.

Oh Ashley, she is absolutely GORGEOUS in the sunshine!!! Give her kisses... BTW don't know if I ever told you, but I am from up in that area. Used to live in Shelby and moved south to Niles. I was up there March 5th-19th to visit my daughter and new grandson. I do miss the area, esp Lake Michigan! I got my first Siamese kitty from a great breeder in Holland. Since then, I only adopt or rescue though. :D We have 6 cats together, and 2 dogs (rescues). With our 4 chickens and 5 chicks!:lau
Zoo? YEP!!
