Actually an electric fence would daunt him soundly!

In that case the opportunity wouldn't arise, thankfully!

Ok, since you were curious, I thought I'd share what I decided to do

I actually ended up going to a local outdoors store (called Zamzows, common here), and picking up a product called Scram: for dogs. It comes in granular form, and one bag covers over 2 thousand square feed (unless you went crazy with it like I did

).

Let me tell you, I think it's good enough to repel any critter! I had to hold my sleeve over my nose while I sprinkled it between my landscape border and the fence. It's ingredients include a crudload of Cayenne pepper, garlic oil, urine, and other nasty things nothing in it's right mind likes mixed together. It's supposed to last a week, but I think it's traumatic enough to the nose to last a lifetime.

So far, nary a peep from the neighbor's dog. I once heard it 'woof' from the neighbor's back deck far far away from the fence, but that's it. And I was able to free-range my girls all day yesterday without the usual nasty ruckus on the other side of the fence.

I'm in love with this terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible smelling product!
