Percent Humidity Target for Coop?

There have been a lot of posts on the importance of ventilation. Does anybody know what a good measure of humidity would be for a coop? I've now got a remote sensor that will measure the temp and the percent humidity inside the coop. I haven't seen any metric on this though (and I couldn't find it in the searches).

I don't know for sure, but I'd say you might start to run into trouble if RH gets over 80%. The air starts to get muggy then, and if the coop gets colder at night, then you might get condensation, which could lead to mold in warm weather and frostbite in cold weather. If the air isn't too dry or wet for you, then it should be good for chooks, too.

I would go out on a limb here, and say you should try to stay as close to ambient humidity as you can. Winter time tends to be dry to start with and you will not really be able to go lower without
AC, so you want to keep it from building inside the coop.
