Driven eggs will have no problems. Just a matter of economics and time. Best of luck to you

What percentage would you guys say or rate..on shipped hatching eggs? and successfully hatched them? First time ordering a little over a dozen and a half eggs from 2 different people on eBay and after 7 days in the incubator..none is showing any signs..all the eggs I put in from my hens are developing already! Experienced shipped eggs hatcher..where are you guys at? What happened to my eggs? All comments welcome..thank you!
I had a shipped order of 10 Crested Cream Legbar eggs.... none of them made it. =( Four of them never developed, and four were very early deaths. Two sailed straight through into lockdown, but never pipped. I'm still fairly new to incubating, but my last batch of Black Copper Marans did wonderfully and under the same conditions. I guess I must have failed these eggs somehow.
I won't lie. It was a huge bummer. Apparently, there are some fertile Cream Legbar eggs available about three and a half hours from me. I think it'll be worth the drive!
Sorry about your eggs. It's very frustrating, just tossed another 5 shipped eggs last night![]()
That sounds awful.... ....I have had 120 shipped quail eggs in the incubator... not one hatched... I've had 4 dozen chicken eggs shipped, none even developed... 50 Geese eggs and 1 developed and hatched.... My luck is bad. Is there some sort of secrete to this?
Do you hatch the dry method. I've hatched eggs for 40 years. I always did the wet method. This fall I tried the dry method. It works great. You put the eggs in but no water til day 18.
