perch dimensions for 3 month old pullets

Hi All - anyone know the best width for pullet perch? They roost on the top of a little coop inside the run but I am going to start putting then on a roost at night so want to know the best size for their 3 month old feet. Thanks!

Between 2 to 2.5" with rounded edges and some texture is good for chickens. I've had 4 week old chicks to a full grown rooster do fine with these ranges.

Our roosts are mostly branches or saplings, bark on, 2" to 3" diameter. Some birds roost on the rafters of the old coop section, 8' up, on 4" fence post rafters. Lots of choices available!
We do have a ladder roost where youngsters spend their first five or six weeks, and those are 2" to 3" diameter too.

3 month olds (heck, even 3 week olds) can be on the same roost sizes as adults.
