Perfectly round egg!! Pics

Hello,

One of my hens laid a perfectly round egg today, a small one. I have never seen anything like this, have you?

I wish I could figure out the double pointed ones I get- which end to put into the egg carton?

I saw an article about a lady who found a round egg and they said its 1 in a billion! Wonder if that's true?

I have a hen who is in her first laying time and her eggs resemble the golf ball which was in the nesting boxes...Since they are Bantams, I counted it up to so what else is new...her eggs are "normal" size for a Bantam, but the shape is very round looking but not a perfect ball...going to try incubating them just to see what happens...wish you luck...

While I've never seen a perfectly round egg before, your little egg bears a striking resemblance to the wind egg I found the other day in our coop! lol

My chicken breeder told me they get some perfectly round eggs it's pretty cool.

I know this is an older post, but one of our Marans laid a small, round egg (about the size of a large marble) and I was curious if anyone on BYC had ever had something similar happen. Glad to see our hens aren't the only ones throwing out unusual eggs. BTW, those big eggs are awesome too! But I feel a bit sorry for the hen that pushed them out.
