I use to have a wyandotte that layed perfectly round eggs before she got eaten by a coyote. It was so cool. Has anyone else had a hen lay eggs like that or had unique eggs similar to this

i kind of do the same thing but I keep one of there feathers for a memorie for example we had a mother hen rasing chicks and one day something dug under neith the pen and grab her foot and ate half of it to only find her like that alive in the morning so we put her out of her misery but keept her featherNo, but I save eggs from my deceased chickens by poking a hole in the bottom with a nail and then draining the contents with a syringe; then I rinse it with a bleach/water solution so they'll be around for years.
Sorry about your hen!
