perhaps a dumb question?

our Local Rural King farm store carries those as well as the Golden laced wyandottes.. (Both are pretty; we hvae both now)..

however; you will probably have to find them locally..because most of the mainstream hatcheries you can get online; are sold out for the yr or at the very least for several months... :-(

wow! good for you! Now; you realize that you should keep your new ones quarantined for a period of time from the place where you are getting them from right?

I actually don't have any at all yet, I'm building the coop this week and picking up the chickens at the end of the week, so quarantine shouldn't be an issue

I got 3 SLW chicks plus a black Turken (ugly ugly things, but I thought I'd give one a chance. lol) on Fri. I got the SLW b/c my MIL was raving about how pretty the one she saw at a local chicken class was. I have a LOT of different kinds of chickens. I hope I like them, my favorites right now are my Penedesencas and my only Speckled Sussex pullet. :) Oh, and my Easter Eggers, I think they will be a lifelong favorite. Plucky little things.
