Permanent marker on baby chick?

I would certainly use permanent marker. Just not in bright colors like red or orange that would attract a chicken to peck at it.

Maybe you could dye them like easter chicks???? If you dye them all, they wouldnt pick on each other.

Like silkeichicken, I often use permanent marker on chicks. Just put a small dot in blue or black on the top or back of the head. I've never had a problem with this.

I have a chicken with a bloody spot on her beak,can I magic marker her to black so she won't get pecked? She's already picked on..... thank you
