Is the product Kathy linked the product you are thinking about Banty?

The Gordon's permethrin 10 is pretty cheap like $8.

Different brand, but I think so?

$8 isn't bad. Maybe I can find it for that.

My concern about this is not knowing exactly what the other ingredients are. They all say "hydrocarbon solvent", but they don't say which one. I think phenol is a hydrocarbon, and I think it's toxic to birds.
Oh....
I get where you are coming from now.

Well, I made a call today and found out that Ectiban...which is labelled a livestock and livestock premise spray AND labelled for chickens, is considered class 4 in Ontario. I called a TSC store and was promptly told that a license is required to obtain the product.

Phenol is a touchy product in larger percentages for any living creature I believe. It's used in very small amount of Wakins liniments and Red cote spray. It's used in hospitals as a disinfectant. Lysol that the public purchases does not contain it from what I've read.
