Are there any vets who see poultry in your area? I have a vet who isn't currently seeing chickens (due to Bird Flu), but was willing to do a telehealth appointment with my chicken. (They quoted me $60, but ultimately didn't charge me anything).

I would hold off on further dosing until you are sure they are all fully recovered from this overdose. Perhaps people here will have some non-insecticide suggestions for slowing down the mites.

I'm so sorry this happened. I've experienced losing a bird due to following advice that was not the best (though well-intended, I'm sure).

Generally, supporting your chicken and giving her time to recover is probably the best: making sure she is hydrated, has plenty of access to food, and resisting doing too much and stressing her out.

We don’t have a vet. And I just added that I think there is something else going on with her. I responded to another helpful post that was the first response and we have been going back and forth. I’m not sure if you read through. I’m aware now that Perm *does not* treat Depluming Mites and I’m going to have to treat with Ivermectin. I’m definitely going to give everyone a break before I continue.

I’m concerned about the walking and balancing issue with my gal I have inside.
