permethrin??

I could not find the frontline spray in my dirt water town but i did find the permethrin 10%. Anyone have any good info I will follow the directions. It also does not say anything on egg withdrawl. I know all of you have so much better info. Thanks

I'm not sure on egg withdrawal at all? You can try searching the other posts for a bit and may come up with something, here is an excerpt on dosage for the 10% permethrin, use caution since I dont know the age or condition of your birds?


Permethrin 10% 21/2 T per 2 gallons of water (or 8 oz mixed in 121/2 G of water. Dip birds until completely saturated (except head) Wear disposable gloves and eye protection.

I've never used it ON my chickens, it does get used around here, the horse mostly and I've sprayed under out deck (poop and flies) and under trees to kill off some flies.

I make sure to keep it away from the chickens, and their food and water.

What seems to be your BUG problem?
