I would not have even answered the neighbor. The nerve of some people. You should not have to explain or justify what you are doing on your own property to anyone.

I'm a firm believer it is no longer a beloved household pet when it crosses my property line. It instantly goes from pet to predator.

I have and will continue to protect my family, house and livestock by what ever means necessary.
