Pet Duck getting "high" on mushrooms...

to tell if they are hallucinogenic mushrooms you only have to look at the stems and cap, if they have a blue hue they are hallucinogenic. you can get pretty ill from them but you have to eat a seriously large amount to be fatal. seriously alot. If they are not blue tinged she is just poisoning herself and I would watch her. Its normal for animals to use drugs, there are plenty examples in the animal kingdom. I read a story about a group of dolphins that would pass around a pufferfish than let it go, the toxins would relax them and they would just kinda hang out for a while. It was recorded many times from the same group

Hi everyone! I happened upon this forum after my duck came home high from eating wild mushrooms on my acreage. She was acting like the duck in the above videos only her head was also swaying in an oval pattern. She was fine by morning! My question is, will her eggs be effected? Will I get high if I eat them?

I wouldn't eat the eggs. Whenever my ducks have to take medication my vet tells me not to eat the eggs for 3 weeks after the last dose.
