Pet Ornamental and Legality?

Hi guys, I'm trying to find a loop hole since I cannot own ducks or geese legally in my town since they are considered farm animals. Do ornamental birds fall under the same category as parrots and cage birds? Or are they also farm animals? Also, do they tame down if raised from babies? Or is it impossible for them to be imprinted?

In my town we have the same restrictions but they also have something in the code concerning pets. The code states you can not have more than two of any kind of pet. The code does not specify what is a pet. Here any way it could be argued that they are pets. Some times it is easier to get forgiveness than permission.

It will depend on what your ordinances say. In my area most ornamental birds are still considered farm animals. They'll be more tame than if you just bought a adult pair. However, they will still not behave like a tame domestic bird would.
