Pet Peeves

sleeves that are too tight! This is why I wear tank tops so often.

Or people judging you on your taste of music. Or you look a certain way and they think you like certain music.

I'm a blue collar woman with 2 careers... my favorite band System of a Down.
Yup! My two favorite genres are 90s rap and country. Nobody ever guesses that. Lol (I don’t really listen to metal, but I love how System of a Down uses their fame to educate the public).
I do, and it isn't even close to second place. However, I have a diverse and eclectic taste in music and enjoy a wide variety of different artists.

Same!

As a vertically challenged person, paying a higher price for "petite" when I could get the same item in sizes S to XXL for a lower price.
Please let there be an end to skinny jeans.
Hear, hear! I, too, am vertically challenged. But I am not particularly small. I am aggravated by women's clothing - tops- that fit me in the shoulders, but the sleeves hang down to my knees. I am short, not a bloody orangutan! :gig

And while we are on the subject, who is in charge of necklines? :idunno Why are they skewed to left and right, so you look like your toddler yanked on your shirt and skewed it permanently sideways? Why do women's fashions have to look more ridiculous every six months so you have to throw everything out and buy all new or risk being behind the times?

Well, not me. I've been behind the times for 30 or 40 years so the fashion industry can just march on without me. :old

Child factories in China or other countries make our clothes. It explains a lot. Like why I can buy two different pair of jeans, same size, same cut, just different shade, and they fit completely different

Hear hear!

When I discovered how useful and comfy cargo pants were, I never went back to jeans. And those cargo pants that really are capris with the cute little draw string, and the two finger pockets "for a touch of femininity?" BS!

I buy men's pants. Heck, I have to buy men's shoes, so why not? Oh, and I get men's t-shirts for garden shirts. White, crew neck, long sleeved. Get a size large, cut the sleeve cuffs off. It's loose (not lose! :lau ), cool enough, and no need for sunscreen. I wear that outfit year round.
