Pet Peeves

That one's my daughter's. Wifey is a graphic designer and illustrator, so everyone in the house has a logo :p The rest is just picking colors and putting it all together.

Ugh. Ranting at me about how stupid it is that you have to wear a mask and how oppressive the system is while you're drawing my blood.

First off, those rules have been in place with your employer long before this current situation. At least the last 10 Years, in fact.

Second, that's a discussion you need to take up with your employer, not me, your patient.

We aren't friends. You're the lab tech who got me next in your rotation. I don't pull the pin on those kids of conversations with people whom I know and trust, let alone the random lady with a needle in my arm. Complaining at me the whole time is just tacky.

(No, I don't intend to share my opinion on this here either. I'm not intersted in sparking debate, you do you and I'm OK with that.)

NGL, the first word that most of my kids learned was "s**t"

AND NOT FROM ME! :p

I can remember a conversation with one of the boys when he was about 3, in which he was really mad because we took something away and he thought it was unfair. He stamped his little foot and screamed "That's boos***, Momma!" (because thats how he said "bull"). I about died laughing, because that's something my wife always says, and he didn't hear it from me. :p

🤣 OHNOOo that’s horrible
Yeah, I had to talk to the parents. They were OK with any and all words. I was like, "That's fine, but the children are in their sensitive period for learning language and"... you know teacher words ... wah...wah...wahwahwahwah.
It stopped because they told their child there are words not appropriate for school.
