I'm really picky about grammar, to the point of it possibly being an OCD thing. I also type at 120 wpm and typo at 80 wpm, so I'm my own worst enemy.I do get the grammer peeve. I notice them. However, I usually do not say anything, because I know that I mess up myself. Plus, sometimes it is just a typo. And, certainly in a forum, chat, or whatever it is no biggie.
I always fear sending a work email, memo, or something along those lines and I really mess up. That is embarrassing.
I was posting for a position recently and the head of Human Resources said she would type it up for me and post it. She does and sends it out in an email and it was absolutely horrible with misspelled words. It was from her, but for my Dept., so I was afraid people were going to think I had written it. I pointed it out to her and had her correct the mistakes. When she sent out the corrected version she just said to please disregard the previous one, but no mention that she was the author of the first.I thought about sending out my own email letting everyone know that she did that! I did not, though.
