When people keep posting on a “help me name my critter” thread weeks and months later, knowing the thing certainly has a name at that point.

Those activate my snark.

Only 2 of my birds have names and I certainly don't need help naming the rest.

I am not the mother of my pets! My goodness, I love the my animals to pieces, but every time a person talks to my pets about "mommy" loving them I feel the urge to talk about how after hours of labor and a successful delivery the puppy looked like neither one of us, so my husband was convinced I had cheated and almost left me.

When someone cannot do simple math. Your child was $23 negative in their lunch acct. You put in $30 and wonder how they went negative again so quickly. $30-$23 is $7. meaning your child can only get lunch a few times before they are negative again. Do not write me nasty notes demanding answers when you hang up on me when I call. Oh, and your daughter looks like the duck from Chicken Little. Get her some damn braces!

Phones phones phones.
I'm a millennial. I can't even keep a cell because they beep at me, always wanting something, and always right away.

They were annoying before cell phones took off.
I remember my dad bringing the cordless house phone to the dinner table, so he could have seemingly endless business calls where none of us were allowed to talk to one another or make any sounds at the table.

Nowadays, people don't just expect you to have a phone, it has to be smart.
If I want to use a coupon in the store I'm supposed to have a QR code reader.

I have dental insurance. $5k for each kid out of pocket to get braces. Insurance paid $0.
