The little dot is called a tittle? That's a fun word

Tittle is more fun. Just sayin

It is. It is cute, too. And children can pronounce it more easily than jot when they are young. Though I choose it because we use the Latin alphabet in English. I think it is my OCD. I like to use Latin words before any others when writing/speaking in English.

A jot and a tittle are the same. But jot is derived from Greek, and tittle is derived from medieval Latin.
