I tried to explain to my 6-year-old that her clothes didn't match. She was wearing a striped dress and had striped pants on but they were wildly different colors. She thought they matched because they both had stripes

I tried that once. Then she launched into a tirade about how God only hears what he wants and she kept saying all sorts of negative things about Him. I didn't want my son to hear that so my family started praying quietly amongst ourselves. Like I said, poisonous people and I thank God we no longer have communication with them

I don't know if you call it a pet peeve but when somebody pops their gum it just sends chills down my spine and annoys the hell out of me.

YES! Or they smack real loud while chewing **Shudders**. I feel like grabbing their cheeks and yelling 'I've been with whole herds of cattle that chew cud less loudly than you!'

Or a person in the middle of the grocery isle OR parking lot and you can't get around them. IDK.. maybe I do not have as much patience as I grow older.

I suppose it's one thing to have patience if there is a good reason and another thing entirely to have patience when people are being inconsiderate.
