Off topic, but Troyer, I LOVE your avatar, that beautiful moth! Do you know what kind it is?

I don't. I took the picture last summer. The moth is approximately 1" long, I don't remember seeing one like that before and I've lived here in Mich. for 35 years.

It appears to be a Virgin Tiger moth (Apantesis virgo).

@Overo Mare, can you identify this beetle? I saw it last summer. Never seen one before or since. Couldn't find it with Mr. Google's help either.

Grapevine beetle (Pelidnota punctata)

Unlike Japanese Beetles, which will strip grapevines bare. I catch a lot of JBs on grapevines. I give them to the chickens, and say, "Die, bugs, die!"

JBs are a pet peeve of mine, so we're back on topic.

Hair ties that are too tight. I have a very sensitive scalp and if a ponytail I put in is too tight it bugs me all day. Some hair ties are just too elasticized or something and they pull dreadfully.

Yes! Or a few hairs are pulling, and you can't get them adjusted, and end up taking the whole thing out and trying again.

Ok, so not the worst problem to have.
